Admin Assistant
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Onsite - Bronx
Hourly Rate: $18.50-20/hr
Must Haves:
In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the VP of Programs Administration and the Director of Facilities. Your responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, business contacts, and agencies to verify the resolution of documented violations. You will manage and organize the filing system to ensure certification-related documents are readily accessible for agency submissions.
Key duties include handling email correspondence and responding to inquiries in a timely manner, updating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases, and collaborating with maintenance staff and external vendors to gather information for violation certifications.
You will also conduct research and compile information for reporting, work cooperatively with other administrative staff, and provide support to colleagues as needed. Meeting deadlines while adapting to changing priorities is crucial.
Exceptional client and customer service, professionalism, and responsiveness are essential, along with strong administrative and time management skills.

Must Haves:
- An associate's degree and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with New York City Department of Buildings regulations.
- Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
- Knowledge of facility maintenance needs for congregate buildings and scatter site preferred.
- Experience of having relationships with staff at all levels including facilities, program operations and administration.
- Bilingual skills in English/Spanish a plus.
