Job Overview:The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of secretarial and responsible clerical functions for the Burn Surgery Physicians and the Burns Surgery Department and acts as a resource to staff and the general public regarding assigned areas of responsibility. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of assigned administrative support tasks and prompt and efficient phone coverage.
This position is full-time, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $26.00-$39.00/hourly.
Responsibilities:- Performs a variety of general clerical and administrative functions and special projects for the Burn Surgery department as directed to ensure the smooth and timely flow of work within the departmental office.
- Maintains departmental files and record keeping systems, ensuring retrievability of information.
- Performs a variety of administrative and project support functions for the Burn Surgery physicians/department.

Qualifications:Required:
- High school diploma/GED (equivalent)
- Business and training education or experience which provide qualifying skills and knowledge
Preferred:
- Senior sectretarial experience in a hospital setting
