Wolverine Power Cooperative is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Training & Development Coordinator.
Wolverine is a wholesale, member-owned generation and transmission electric cooperative headquartered in beautiful Cadillac, Michigan. Wolverine generates and transmits electricity to its seven member-owners to provide electric power to their 268,000 member consumers located throughout Michigan's Lower Peninsula.

As Wolverine's Training & Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and implementing customized, high quality training programs in support of Wolverine and our member cooperatives.
- Coordinating continuing education and specialized training for a variety of roles including but not limited to journeyman line worker, fiber installer, staking engineers, vegetation and forestry professionals, substation and instrumentation and communications technicians, mechanics, power plant operators, individual contributors and supervisory staff.
- Establish new and ongoing course offerings and ensure the Joint Michigan Apprenticeship Program (JMAP) remains an excellent training program for Michigan's future line workers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in organizational training and development, industrial safety, or similar degree strongly preferred. Highly relevant on-the-job experience may be substituted for some formal education.
- 3+ years experience in the utility industry required; utility skilled trade experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead technical or safety related training functions.
- Valid MI drivers license.
- Professional level communication and presentation skills required.
