WITRON is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team and support multiple locations across the U.S. If you have a robust understanding of OSHA regulations and thrive in promoting safety daily, we want to hear from you!

As aAdministrative Assistant, you will:

• Provide comprehensive safety oversight and manage both administrative and field safety responsibilities.
• Monitor project activities, review construction management processes, and design safety procedures, programs, and policies.
• Develop, lead, and train Health and Safety professionals on site.
• Investigate, review, and follow up on construction-related incidents and accidents.
• Serve as the primary contact for critical incident management and regulatory agency audits/inspections.
• Plan, administer, and manage organization safety policies, programs, and trainings
• Coordinate safety issues with the National Safety Manager, On-Site Manager, and Maintenance Manager.
• Train employees on forklift and other MHE operations, conduct equipment inspections, and monitor operations.
• Conduct management-level loss control reviews for Workers Compensation and Safety Inspections.
• Analyze and present statistical data through technical reports.
• Train and inspect Fall Protection equipment procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in industrial or construction safety, warehouse safety, or a related field.
• Extensive experience managing safety in an operational or functional support role, preferably in a warehouse/distribution/logisticsenvironment.vxx
• In-depth knowledge of General or Construction Industry safety principles, accident prevention, and safety equipment.
• Proficient in operating, training, and inspecting forklifts and other MHE.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface and plan with management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 3 weeks at a time, with 1 week off)
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• 75% travel is expected for this role
