The Children’s Medical Services program is seeking an Admin Assistant for its Athens Clinic. This position performs a wide variety of clerical duties: Patient intake, verifying documentation and Medicaid/insurance for program eligibility, and entering data into a computerized patient record system. This position prepares quarterly reports of patient and clinic data utilizing Excel and a clinical computer record system. Spreadsheets are used to process purchases orders, invoices, and medical bills, for accounting, and tracking expenditures. The applicant should have the ability to communicate with medical supply vendors, billing departments, and patient families. This position also requires maintaining business office supplies and place orders. Serve as backup to answer main phone line as needed. This candidate will work up to 25-29 hours per week.
