Administrative Assistant, Children's Services - JCPRD

• Serves as primary customer service representative for the Children’s Services Department.
• Communicates with potential and current program patrons, vendors, and agency partners.
• Answers parent inquiries on program content, fee structure, program placement, financial aid, and enrollment.
• Monitors program payments and collects delinquent fees.
• Manages grants, financial assistance program, accounts payable, and cash reconciliation.
• Enters recreation catalog copy for department.
• Provides assistance and support for department members upon request.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe, including electronic file retention.
• 1 year customer service, including telephone calls and face-to-face communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; works well with others.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Associate degree.
