Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level one Administrative Assistant position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

As a Level One Administrative Assistant, your primary responsibilities include providing administrative and clerical support to the project manager, typing correspondence and various documents, maintaining project files manually and electronically, managing the office staff calendar, coordinating project meetings, arranging staff travel, attending project meetings to record minutes and action items, assisting in developing project reports and briefings, and providing word processing support for data conversion, records management, and n


Skills / Experience Required

• Secret Clearance
• 3 years of experience performing administrative/clerical functions
• Creating project reports and briefings, capturing and documenting meeting artifacts
• Experience supporting travel coordination
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Education / Certifications

• Minimum high school diploma

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
