Histories/Reception Specialist

Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday to Friday

Location: Onsite, in Rancho Cordova

Responsibilities:

• Collect and document patients’ medical histories, including details of injuries, treatments received, and current pain levels.
• Communicate with third parties to obtain and return necessary information.
• Answer emails, print documents, and upload information to websites or send via email.
• Follow up with attorneys if responses are not received and ensure reports are returned.
• Cover the reception desk during breaks or when the receptionist is out.
• Check and manage incoming faxes.
• Perform ancillary duties such as shipping and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong multitasking skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Pleasant and professional phone manners.
• Experience in reception or customer service roles, especially those involving frequent phone interactions.
• Ability to greet and assist visitors in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Comfortable with basic computer tasks, including using Excel at a basic level.
