Description/Job Summary
Provide administrative support to the Facilities Dept. Track and monitor purchases. Entering requisitions into Banner.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Organize and track Facilities information, data, time and resources
- Provide quality customer service, information and assistance to employees, students and visitors
- Manages reception area and conference rooms
- Maintains office equipment and common area supplies
- Enter requisitions in Banner.
- Track and monitor all requisitions.
- Composes letters and memos for review and approval
- Greet visitors, answer phones, and responds to inquiries.
- Assumes ownership of service issues and works within scope of authority and appropriate guidelines and resources to meet
- needs and resolve problems.
- Works to develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, customers and students
- Prepare agendas and take minutes for meetings
- Seek out customer input to better understand their needs and develops ideas for how to meet those needs.
- Promptly responds to request and inquiries with accuracy and courtesy.
- Works to develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, customers and students.
- Plan events and activities in advance to ensure that all assignments are completed in a timely and quality manner
- Contact vendors for quotes and assist the facilities department with tracking inquiries and requests.
- Other duties as assign.
Required Qualifications
- AA Degree in a related field
- At least 5 years work experience in a Facilities Department
- At least 5 years working in a high pace and high demand department/organization.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- At least 10 years work experience in an
