About the Job
Purpose of Position/Summary:
Provides administrative support. Duties may include researching multiple databases, data entry, document analysis, filing, preparing outgoing mail, sorting incoming mail and other duties as required.
OVERVIEW
4 to 5 years of experience. Involved in a variety of administrative duties involving judgment in the application of relatively standardized administrative precedents, policies, and procedures.
DUTIES
•Enter provider enrollment information with 100% accuracy and within 3 business days.
•Communicate professionally with clients to request additional information and follow up on those requests until task is complete.
•Make supervisor aware of any questions you have about data entry before you enter the data and respond to customer.
•Perform filing, document storage preparation and other administrative duties. Assist Dedicated Funds staff with special projects.
•Analyze medical malpractice filings to verify information is complete and accurate; and enter information in database with 100% accuracy and within 10 business days of receipt.
•Review incoming documents to identify information to be redacted. Determine whether they should be scanned, filed or routed to other staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Strong customer service skills
•Basic knowledge of computer procedures, familiarity with Microsoft Office products
•Ability to draft email correspondence using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
•Ability to attend to detail and maintain accuracy and confidentiality
•Strong organizational skills
*Ability to consistently work Monday-Friday, 37.5-hour week
DIFFICULTY OF WORK
Incumbent uses judgment to recommend appropriate methods and procedures to handle a wide range of situations encountered. Individual cases may involve multiple variables to be considered which could significantly affect possible outcomes for the program involved.
