About the Job
WinnCompanies is looking for an Administrative Assistant to split their time between Lakeview Apartments, a 95-unit affordable housing community, and Schuyler-Dekalb Apartments, a 167-unit affordable housing community: both of which are located in White Plains, NY.
In this role, you will assist with daily administrative procedures and special projects. Please note that the pay range for this position is $19.32 to $23.42 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide office support, including: maintaining files, ordering office supplies, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and facilitating overnight shipping.
- Assist with property operations, including: creating check requests, filing paid invoices, and distributing resident requests appropriately.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls.
- Manage all aspects of front desk duties.
- Update property management team on existing or potential problems.
- Complete special projects as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and apply initiative.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in property management industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
