PT Administrative Assistant
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking and trustworthy individual with strong organizational skills and a flexible schedule. This role requires proficiency in communication, Microsoft Office, and G Suite, as well as a light background in sales. The Administrative Assistant will manage customer interactions, process invoices and payments, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Pay Rate
$18 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Mon- Sun Evenings & Afternoons (Flexible Shifts)
Part-time (20-25hrs)
Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
- Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for students, parents, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and feedback.
- Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage scheduling, maintain accurate records, and handle administrative tasks with attention to detail.
- Invoice and Payment Processing: Process invoices, manage payments, and ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Microsoft Office & G Suite: Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets) for various administrative tasks.
- Customer Interactions: Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and support customer needs in a professional manner.
- Sales Skills: Assist with light sales tasks as needed, including promoting programs and enrolling students.
- Reliable Transportation: Ensure timely attendance and reliable transportation to and from the music school.
- Feedback Provision: Offer constructive feedback and contribute to process improvements.
- Flexibility: Adapt to varying schedules and be available to work flexible hours as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling.
- Ability to handle customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- Basic sales skills and experience in invoices and payment processing are a plus.
- High level of trustworthiness and a strong work ethic.
- Background in music is a plus
