About the Job
Major/Essential Functions
- Coordinates the Center for Translational Neuroscience and Therapeutics (CTNT) Annual Symposium
- Coordinates the Center for Translational Neuroscience and Therapeutics (CTNT) Monthly Meetings
- Maintains the Center for Translational Neuroscience and Therapeutics (CTNT) Website
- Coordinates/Manages the GPHM 7101 Seminar Course, including the CTNT Seminar Series
- Travel processes for ALL department team members, including invited seminar distinguised speakers, department retreat members and faculty recruitments.
- Department Event Planning
- Develops and maintains information for the department website
- Annual Faculty Evaluation Processes
- Manages and maintains Graduate Faculty Appointments
- Annual Faculty Tenor and Promotion Processes
- Manage and maintains the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) SACS binders for all department faculty
- Maintains general office functions
- Provides administrative support for the Chairperson and the Business manager
- Graduate Student Support & Records

Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer to have TTUHSC systems (techbuy, travel) experience
- Proficiency in MS Office attained through either work/academic experience.
- Previous administrative lead experience.

- Occasionally you will update the Chairperson digital measures files, in the digital measures system.
- Occasionally will do other assigned task from the Business Manager.
- Travel is expected once a year for the annual department retreat, no more than 3 days are expected.
