Role: Administrative Specialist III
Location: Madison, MS, 39110
Duration: 6+ months (possible extension)
Shift: 1st shift
Pay Range: $20-24/hr per hour.
Job Description
Performs a variety of activities in support of Global Trade Compliance Group. Gathers, collects,
records, tracks and verifies export trade and technical data and information from multiple sources
i.e. manufactures, web, and suppliers. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data before entering into OCR
EASE. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures to
obtain jurisdiction and classification of products. Assists Licensed Customs Broker with
administrative duties to assist with preparing completed work packages on products for
delivery. Admin Specialist will also be required to assist in reviewing and approving all exports and
imports via our web portal and work with the broker when questions arises on shipments.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING DUTIES.
• Perform part research i.e. calling and emailing suppliers, manufacturers for export trade
information. Searching the web for technical data on parts
• Creating Product Classification Requests (PCR) in OCR EASE system
• Assist Licensed Customs Broker with gathering required information to classify products’ USHTS codes
• Updating enterprise systems, i.e. SAP and VTXship
• Review and approve exports and imports
• Data entry and Management, i.e. entering date into relevant systems such as OCR EASE, SAP,
and spreadsheets
• Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Duties/Responsibilities:
Examples of work performed in this classification include, but are not limited to, the following
tasks. These tasks may be amended or other tasks may be assigned as necessary.
• Reviewing export and import shipping documents for completeness and accuracy to ensure
compliance.
• Updating parts within SAP with approved jurisdiction and classification information.
• Admin support as required by Managers and all other teammates
• Assists with data gathering and creating of Product Classification Requests for OCR EASE
• Input Data into the Import/Export license tracking system to track licensing time, and reports on
pending cases to manager.
• Maintain records of exports, classifications, and license activities
• Maintain records of imports
• Follows all safety procedures and practices as established by the company and regulatory
bodies.
• Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma OR equivalent (GED) AND +4 years of
experience in work related to the above-described examples required. Experience working in compliance roles preferred.
KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
The following skills and abilities are required:
• understanding and using the English language, both oral and written, to communicate
information or ideas to another person or persons;
• analyzing abilities sufficient to comply with detailed administrative procedures;
• applying common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions;

• performing tasks in the presence of distracting stimulation or under monotonous conditions without significant loss of thought process and efficiency;
• working knowledge of SAP systems/ procedures
• databases sufficient to perform the job duties and tasks associated with the position;
• Knowledge of MS Office and office management software.
• Aircraft maintenance terminology and general logistics desired.
