Client Overview:
Our client is looking to hire a reliable and professional Administrative Assistant to join their dynamic and innovative marketing and creative agency in Manhattan, NYC. This company highly values their employees and clients with an emphasis on relationships and customer service. The candidate will be detail oriented, outgoing, hardworking and dependable. The position will be onsite in their New York office.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25 – $30 DOE
Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will take the approach that no job is too big or too small. It will be comprised of administrative tasks in supports various directors in calendar management, travel and expenses. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant role with support general office assistant type work with answering phones, organizing mail, and greeting guests.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
- Support calendar management with Directors
- Oversee general office administrative type tasks such as ordering office supplies, managing mail, answering incoming calls
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, presentations, and reports
- Maintain and organize digital and physical files, ensuring easy access to information
- Manage office supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed
- Support project management by tracking deadlines and deliverables
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing updates as necessary
- Assist in the planning and execution of company events and initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:
- Must be a self-starter and have a go-getter personality
- Prior administrative internships or professional administrative experience required
- 2 to 4 years of prior administrative experience
- Willingness to learn and grow with an organization
- Positive personality
- Must exude professionalism and strong communication skills
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
