The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. (RFMH) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Administrative Assistant position in its intermediary organization the Division of Behavioral Health Services and Policy Research and its Center for Practice Innovations (CPI). The chosen candidate will support training, research, and general administrative activities. The chosen candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be very detail-oriented and flexible. The person in this position must be comfortable using math as part of their everyday work experience. This position can be hybrid with at least 3 days in the office per week as designated by the supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process purchase requisitions, pay orders, consultant agreements. Assist with vendor onboarding and filling in information on contract template forms. Track expenses. Follow up on orders and accounts payable inquiries. (approx. 25%)
• Provide support for grant submissions, progress reports, and other reporting as needed. Assist with drafting grant budgets and justifications. Collect and assemble required materials. Enter data and upload documents into grant application systems and complete internal forms for all applications. (approx. 30%)
• Track and update Division Investigators' Other Support and BioSketch documents. Track grant and IRB dates and funding information. (approx. 10%)
• Assist with Division space logistics such as computer and phone set up requests and coordinating with Facilities department. Track computers and staff space assignments. (approx. 5%)
• Other administrative duties as they arise: including setting up meetings, taking minutes, and specific support for individual research projects. (approx. 30%)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
• At least two years of administrative and/or research support experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least two years' experience in a research, training, and/or academic environment.
• One year experience assisting with grant applications.
