Location: Onsite in NYC, NY, M-F 9am - 6pm
Pay: $30-40/hr
Our Entertainment Client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clerk to support our legal team by managing essential document processing and organization. This role involves the maintenance and retrieval of files, assisting in the smooth operation of our department, and ensuring accuracy in document handling and filing.
Responsibilities:
* Organize, sort, and file a variety of legal documents efficiently and accurately, maintaining a structured filing system.
* Prepare and pack files for storage or distribution, ensuring the integrity and order of records.
* Digitize physical documents through scanning and indexing, managing electronic files to facilitate easy retrieval.
* Handle physical file boxes (up to 40 lbs) as needed for document management and distribution within the office.
* Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects and initiatives, providing administrative support as required.
Qualifications:
* 1+ year of administrative experience, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to adapt quickly to other software tools.
* Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all documents.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, professional setting.
