About the Job
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and organized adminstrative assistant to join their team in the Business Office for the Discretionary Procurement Unit (DPU).
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor outreach and communication via phone and Outlook
- Prepare RFQ (Request for Quote) documents and addendums using Microsoft Word and Adobe Pro
- Receive and review incoming quotes and proposals
- Assess submitted quotes and proposals for arithmetic errors and verify compliance with prevailing wages
- Process vendor responsibility checks
- Prepare and maintain procurement records
- Track procurement projects using Microsoft Excel
- Maintain project retention through accurate filing
- Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Prior experience in procurement or administrative roles is desirable
