Administrative Assistant - The Tatitlek Corporation

OVERVIEW

Tatitlek staff provide support for engineering, technical, operator and logistics services at the Surface/Aviation Interoperability Laboratory (SAIL). SAIL is a part of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) located at Patuxent River, MD.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position requires the ability to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.
• Administrative and secretarial duties supporting executive staff and office management responsibilities including budgeting, personnel records, and payroll. 
• Attend meetings with Government personnel and prepare meeting minutes as requested/required.
• Organize and maintain reference data files that contain technical and administrative data.
• Prepare interim and final technical reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• BA/BS degree in a relevant subject or discipline for the position and at least 1 year of full-time experience performing work related to the labor category functional description.

OR

• Associate’s degree in a relevant subject or discipline for the position and at least 2 years of full-time experience performing work related to the labor category functional description. The 2 years of experience must be within the last 3 years.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, adaptability, customer & mission focused, proficiency with Microsoft Office products, and knowledge of office administration and business principals.
• Must possess a SECRET level DoD clearance.
