Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Payment Review Auditors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing referrals, confirming recoveries are posted, confirming stop-pays have been placed, following up on obtaining executed settlement documents, reviewing tracking files for completeness, and uploading/preparing sample files.
How you'll make an impact:- Referral Management: Efficiently manage and track referrals to ensure timely processing and follow-up; includes checking claims files for added documentation prior to sending escalation referrals.
- Confirming Recoveries: Verify that all identified recoveries are posted timely in the system; send escalation referrals for funds not recovered.
- Stop-Pays Confirmation: Confirm that stop-pays have been placed as required.
- Settlement Documents: Follow up on obtaining executed settlement documents to ensure all necessary documentation is added to the claim file.
- Tracking Files Review: Regularly review tracking files for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all data is up-to-date.
- Uploading & Preparing Samples: Upload random samples for the GCoE team to facilitate their review process; identify available documentation for payments and submit to auditor for review
- Other Administrative Duties as Assigned such as updating the Branch Leader list and maintaining SOPs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role; experience in claims administration a plus.
- Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- High ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
