About the Job
We are a family-owned heavy equipment construction company looking for someone to help with administrative tasks within our office. Job duties include general organization, data entry, basic accounting, and communicating with customers and vendors. This position offers an introduction into more complex administrative functions which may be added with regular Employee/Manager assessments.
Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Answering phones and directing calls
Directing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail
Input new customer and vendor information
Filing and organizing
Basic data entry via Quickbooks Online
Experience and Qualifications:
Some college education (degree preferred)
Understanding of bookkeeping, Quickbooks, and certified payroll (Preferred)
Business/professional written and communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to be productive without oversight
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office software
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Schedule:
- Part-time 20 hours weekly, 4 hours daily
Ability to commute/relocate:
Placentia, CA 92870: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
