SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The incumbent supports an organization or department by performing administrative and secretarial services for The Professional Learning and Support Department. Assist management with administrative tasks such as tracking and compiling information of interest.
Essential Job Functions:1. Perform a full range of administrative work for multiple programs and projects for Professional Learning and Support.
2. Prepare various reports detailing the administrative information handled by the position. Review and answer correspondence for Professional Development and Support.
3. Identify issues or problems and seeks alternative solutions consistent with applicable regulations.
4. Prepare and maintain a variety of reports, records, correspondence, and files related to assigned service, activities, and operations; provides for appropriate research and compiles reports, as needed.
5. Monitors account balances and related financial activity (e.g. expense report) to ensure that allocations are accurate and expenses are within budget limits and/or that fiscal practices are followed.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School degree or equivalent, and three (3) years’ experience in a relevant area for a total education/experience of three (3) years.
Degree Equivalency Formula:
Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.
Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
