Job Description
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the
Senior Vice President of Offshore Development. The Administrative
Assistant also serves as a liaison to senior management teams and
provides overall support to calendar scheduling, expense reports and any
other additional administrative activities needed to support the SVP and
Offshore Development team. The ideal individual will have the ability to
exercise good judgment with strong written/verbal communication,
administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a
realistic balance among multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Sustain a daily calendar of meetings and events; resolve any
scheduling issues.
- Arrange travel and accommodations for SVP, Offshore Development.
Prepare expense reports.
- Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports,
special projects, and other documents in support of objectives for
the organization.
- Respond to and create meeting requests by gathering and providing
information and referring incoming inquiries to the appropriate
staff.
- Use discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment to handle
confidential business matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related experience required in working in an
administrative support role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability and temperament to work with sensitive
information.
- Ability to work onsite in Chicago (1 S. Wacker office)
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer
visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment; proven ability
to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability
to interact with people of all levels in a confident, professional
manner.
- Have team-oriented experience and approach.
