The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Clinical Care team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately enters a variety of data into various information systems.
- Executes workflow functions in electronic medical record system.
- Schedule patient visits in accordance with the care plan.
- Coordinates schedules with field-staff.
- Verifies accuracy of data entered through collaboration with Clinical Manager(s) and/or Clinical Director.
- Provides customer support to patients and colleagues via phone, email, and fax.
- Alerts appropriate management team members regarding potential compliance issues.
- Maintains confidentiality of PHI and organization information at all times.
- Performs other specific projects relating to office procedures.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma (College Degree Preferred)
- At least two (2) years health care experience, preferably in hospice.
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
- HCHB/Pointcare knowledge is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Applications.
