About the Job
Introduction:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Residential Administrator to join our team. The Residential Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, and handling a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Essential functions
- Answer the phone
- Greet customers (find out the purpose of the visit, retail or commercial )
- Accept and process credit card payments at the counter and over the phone
- Process over the counter sales (cash sales)
- Mail – open, stamp photocopy and distribute
- Assist with work orders
- Pre and post install client follow up communication
- Handle material only post sale follow up
- Maintain Price List Files
- Maintain file cabinets and filing
- Overnight mail
- Assist with company event coordination
- Schedule Lunch and Learns with vendors for Floors Etc. employees
- General office duties
- Back up to showroom assistant
- Assist Showroom Manager with Daily Tasks
Work environment
- This position is on-site in Timonium MD
- Workdays are Monday through Friday.
Physical Demands
- Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Occasionally move product boxes up to 20 pounds for various needs.
Required qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in an office or administrative role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
