Description of role:

Rock River Valley Blood Center is currently seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our Community Resources team. This position provides essential administrative support to our Donor Recruiters, contributing directly to the success of our blood drives. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

This role is integral to the success of our donor recruitment efforts, where responsibilities include preparing donor recruitment materials, maintaining accurate records, creating documents and presentations, and contributing to special projects.

Skills and Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Min of one year of administrative support experience
• Proficiency Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effective

Work Schedule:

Full-time position (29+ hours per week) working Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

Salary:

Hourly starting range for this position begins between $16-20/hr. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
