_About This Role_
Textron Systems’ Slidell, LA office is seeking an organized, action-oriented, and personable Staff Assistant to join our team. This role will support the Land domain, providing daily administrative support and assisting the team in a variety of activities including:
+ Working with senior management in coordinating daily activities, team communications, program meetings and other functionally specific initiatives
+ Providing administrative support including meeting management, calendar management, travel arrangements, expense report management, maintaining office equipment and supplies, mail distribution, and other critical daily functions to support the business
+ Utilizing various systems and tools to support project activities such as meeting set ups, status updates, and monitoring of program performance
+ Supporting new and existing employees with IT requests, facilities issues, keys, and office space requirements
+ Supporting business development efforts with customer support requests as needed and support the development of any needed customer, and other briefings
+ Providing follow-up on written correspondence and telephone inquiries
+ Serving as a helpful resource to others within the work group / department and others across the organization as needed
+ Collaborate with fellow administrative support to have cross-system consistency
+ Other duties as assigned by management
+ Scheduling, organizing, and attending meetings to include setting up conference rooms, documenting notes and coordinating follow-up actions.
Qualifications
_Qualifications_
Education:
+ Required: High School graduate with four or more years of administrative support experience
+ Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
Position Requirements:
+ Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications.
+ Excellent organizational abilities to plan and prioritize a variety of assignments in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to interface with senior management, cross organizations, internal and external customers, or government and community officials which requires considerable tact and diplomacy.
+ Demonstrate professional demeanor, possess interpersonal qualities needed for effective collaboration.
