- Must pass district background check

REPORTS TO: Director of Student Services and Safety
RECEIVES GUIDANCE FROM: Central Office Directors
JOB GOAL:
- To perform secretarial, clerical and information managing duties efficiently and expeditiously to benefit the department of student Services and untimately the students enrolled. This positionwill also work collaboratively with other Central Office departments to effectivelyaccomplish a variety of critical tasks. This position works under the direct supervision of the Director of Student Services & Safety.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Full Time: 40 hours per week/12 months employment with benefits
EVALUATION:
- Evaluated annually on the basis of effort, enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, knowledge of school environment, policies and procedures, organization, and performance of job responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Consistent and punctual work attendance is required at the job site
Provides data entry to ensure accurate records and documentation for state and federal programs
- Maintains current census informtion
- Authorizes the release of student records/transcripts and keeps files of students no longer in NPS organized
- Maintains records for intra-school and inter-school student transfers and boundary exceptions
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the student services budget.
- Executes general office procedures as designated by the Director of Student Services & Safety
- Archiving of student records
- Approval of new student records and online registration
- Organize and distribute school supplies for students in need
- Authorize fee waiver documents
- Track homeschool students
- Complete all reports in a timely manner
- Maintain & authorize release of transcripts
Demonstrates proper application of English usage, grammar, and punctuation
Follows established protocols for incoming calls and public communication
Effectively manages time, organizes materials and performs clerical duties as assigned
Assists in maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing district standards and procedures
Complies with all legal regulations relevant to the assigned job title
Maintains confidentiality
Updates job knowledge and professional skills by participating in educational training opportunities and collaborating with colleagues
Other duties as assigned
