Administrative Assistant - Abacus Technology

Abacus Technology is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide task and management support for Picatinny Arsenal.  This is a full-time position.

• Provide direct daily support for the managers and members of an IT and telecommunications team.
• Research and compile information pertaining to varied projects/topics, prepare factual, concise written communications.
• Monitor progress toward accomplishment of numerous taskings and initiatives.
• Manage and track staff training records.
• Coordinate, document and support staff training related tasks and schedules.
• Disseminate program policy and specific project guidance.
• Plan and prepare meeting minutes in a timely and accurate manner.

2+ years experience in an administrative role.  HS diploma or GED required; college degree a plus.  Proficiency in ITIL a plus.  Experience supporting a large team with numerous administrative tasks.  Possess strong communication skills and attention to detail.  Able to work independently and with a team and interact professionally with all levels of an organization.  Experience in MS Office software.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
