The hours for this position will be from 7 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Ferguson is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant who will primarily be responsible for serving as the first point of phone contact for customers and vendors, in addition to providing administrative support to the Leadership and Accounts Receivable Team. The successful candidate will have prior receptionist and administrative experience, strong communication skills, a polished and professional demeanor, friendly and positive attitude, strong attention to detail and organizational skills and must be a team player.
Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES for the Administrative Assistant:
" Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce and/or direct visitors to appropriate personnel
" Promptly answer inbound calls and screen and direct appropriately; handle inquiries/provide basic information when needed
" Receiving and sorting mail, overseeing deliveries, filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing
" Provide general administrative and clerical support to the leadership and accounting team
" Discretion in the confidential handling of all business-related information and situations
" Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery and office equipment as needed
" Organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order
" Reporting office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures
" Perform data entry tasks into multiple, electronic systems and formats.
" Assist with the coordination and organization of company meetings, trainings and luncheons

Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:
- 1-2 Years Customer Service Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- 2+ years of MS Office skills
- High school diploma required and 3+ years relevant experience in a professional office environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact with all staffing levels
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and strong typing skills with accuracy
- Ability to operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, voice mail systems and personal computers
- Detail oriented, organized, responsive and flexible in being able to adjust to changing needs and priorities
- Present in a courteous, professional manner at all times, while prioritizing and managing large volumes of call
