Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Core Data and Professional Development
Department: Clerical – Central Office
Reports to: Asst Superintendent of Schools
Classification: Classified / Non-Exempt
Summary
This individual provides support and assistance to the administrators in the performance of required clerical, record keeping, organizational, and/or reporting functions for the primary purpose of maintaining the efficient functions of the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Responsible for the collection, compilation, and input of descriptive statistics for the Lebanon Public Schools, in collaboration with building and district-level personnel responsible for reporting data.
- Meet all deadlines for input of data in the web-based data collection system for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
- Prepare and disseminate data collection forms for building and district-level personnel responsible for reporting data.
- Provide annual training to administrators and other building and district-level personnel regarding data collection.
- Analyze district data for potential errors prior to entry into the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Core Data System, in collaboration with building and district level personnel responsible for reporting data.
- Alert appropriate administrator(s) of data findings that may adversely affect the district APR.
- Attend trainings/workshops related to Core Data.
- Respond to edits provided via the web and/or through state reports in collaboration with building and district level personnel responsible for reporting data.
- Use Infinite Campus to compile data and support Infinite Campus in the absence of the district’s student information coordinator/technology specialist.
- Prepare and distribute various types of correspondence and reports as needed.
- Provide secretarial support and maintain all files for the Lebanon Education Foundation.
- Provide administrative support for curriculum development activities.
- Support and organize summer school logistics.
- Assist with activities associated with various committees chaired by Assistant Superintendent.
- Provide secretarial support for office.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications
Education/Experience/Certificates
- High school diploma required; college is considered a plus.
- Accounting experience is preferred.
- Such alternative to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Skills and Abilities
Language
Individual must be able to read and interpret documents, Write simple and complex reports, applications, and correspondence, and speak with students, staff members, and community members.
Computation
Familiarity with modern accounting practices is preferred.
Reasoning
The ability to interpret and follow directions is required, as are basic problem-solving abilities.
Technology
Must have excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products and internet. Must have the ability to learn new systems and software with instruction.

While performing the duties of this position an employee is required to sit for prolonged periods of time; also, occasional walking is required as in a general office setting. The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach, bend, and lift or carry up to 30 pounds. The employee must have the ability to hear conversation both in person and via telephone in a general office setting. Prolonged computer use required.
