The Northwest Louisiana Human Services District was formed to provide local governance and direction for behavioral health and developmental disability services for individuals residing in the nine parishes of Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster.
This position is with the District's Fiscal Services Department located within the Shreveport Behavioral Health clinic at 1310 N Hearne Ave. Shreveport, LA.
This position is an integral part of the administrative services and service delivery teams, working closely with direct service provider staff, supervisors, and clients. The incumbent ensures clients information is verified for insurance purposes and fees for services.

Pay Ranges for each level:
Administrative Coordinator 1 - $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
Administrative Coordinator 2 - $11.45 - $20.61 per hour
Administrative Coordinator 3 - $13.11 - $23.59 per hour
Note regarding the pay range: The maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title/level over their career and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire .

Examples of Work
Ensures client demographical information, Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance and client fees are accurately entered into electronic record for new clients.
Conduct financial interviews to obtain the necessary information to determine the clients annual liability due.
Verify Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance for clients presenting for admission.
Use approved fee sliding scale in determining the cost per service rendered and also if client is eligible for free medication.
Assists with completion of Medicaid applications when applicable.
Make deposits of patient fees, drug screen co-payments, third party payer funds. Maintain log properly documenting all funds received.
Collect and document NVRA data at client intake and scheduled fee update as required for reporting purposes.
Performs related duties as assigned.
