About the Job
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), and in conjunction with the Quality and Risk Management (QRM) department, the Administrative Director will focus on nursing quality indicators, patient safety priorities, and the advancement of nursing professional practice. The Director plays a key role in supporting the development of nursing programs, quality monitoring, and performance improvement efforts organization wide.
Requirements:
- Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or from a state that is part of a Compact agreement with Virginia.
- Expertise in Nursing Professional Practice, Quality Improvement, and Process Improvement. Previous nursing leadership required.
- LEAN certification (to be obtained within one year if not already certified).
- Magnet or Pathway to Excellence experience preferred.

- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a positive, consistent, enthusiastic, and open manner.
- Demonstrates knowledge of hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
