Working as an Administrative Office Assistant (OA) in the Directors office, you will serve as an expert administrative support in the areas of travel, T&A, procurement, and bankcard. Plan and implement logistics, registration, material production/distribution in support of Examiner training, Judges and overseers, FACA Committee Management, Baldridge Executive Fellows meetings, and the Quest for Excellence Conference. Effectively communicate with colleagues, senior-level management, and stakeholders. Address program inquires based on knowledge of program processes, materials, and produce/service offerings. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Specialized Experience: Applicant must possess one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-8 (ZS IV at NIST) level. Expertise in event management, and logistics. Expert administrative support functions including T&A's, preparing and managing travel requests, completing procurement and bankcard processing. In addition to meeting the Specialized Experience listed above you must be able to type 40 words per minute (WPM). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
