About the Job
We are seeking an Administrative Services Generalist for the Western Region Underwriting Department.
The Administrative Services Generalist is accountable for being the first point of contact for customers & clients over the phone & in person. Key duties include transferring incoming calls, logging new funding files, entering applications ensuring accurate output, weekly shipment of funded loans, accurate & timely check proceeds according to disbursement sheets, preparing Fed Ex for client proceeds shipping, and distributing mail and overnight packages received.
The role is accountable for maintaining proper levels of office & kitchen supplies, reviewing all invoices received for the region to ensure billing accuracy, obtaining required authorizations for payment of invoices, ensuring expenses are charged to the correct cost center & general ledger account, & timely submission to accounts payable for processing. Additionally, this position is accountable for supporting & modeling Credit Human and West Region core values and standards and promoting a positive work culture.

Highlights:
- Maintain the Reception area, ensuring a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere
- Sort daily incoming mail into departmental groups and distribute
- Act on behalf of the region as point-of-contact/ liaison for supply and kitchen
- Enter consumer credit applications within an established time frame with high-quality accuracy
- Ensure a supply of check stock is available at all times
- Accurately prepare all checks promptly, per disbursement sheets and check request forms, validating for authorized signatures
Experience:
Required
- 1 year of reception or administrative experience
Preferred
- Previous experience within a financial institution
Education:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills & Knowledge:
Required
- Typing 40 wpm and working computer knowledge
- Inventory control
- Data entry accuracy capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of photocopy and scanning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service Focus
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow through with assigned projects independently
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
Level of Work: 1B
Starting minimum salary: $20.93 an hour
