Job description:

OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF JOB: To perform specialized administrative and supportive functions in a timely manner to assure efficient operation of the department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF JOB: 

1. Assists management level staff with clerical and data support to accomplish agency goals.
2. Operates computers with a high level of skill providing input and making adjustments to programs as needed.
3. Prepares reports, memos, letters, spreadsheets and databases as needed.
4. Interacts with other internal and external governmental departments, outside offices, agencies and the general public daily as needed to perform essential job duties.
5. Liaison for IMTO and Maintenance.
6. Supervises and supports clerical staff to include one on one training.
7. Assigns and monitors work within the unit and assuring clerical staff are meeting all deadlines.
8. Active member of the administrative/management team.
9. Conducts performance reviews of staff.
10. Addresses personnel issues within service area/unit.
11. Responsible for scheduling unit meetings.
12. Functions and maintains credentials as notary for the Agency.

OTHER DUTIES OF JOB:           

1. Oversees expungements of data.
2. Maintains employee records required for annual licensing.
3. Attends training as required.
4. Function as JTAC liaison 
5. Functions as Child Welfare Resource Center training liaison
6. Function as MCI liaison
7. Function as CAPS liaison
8. Function as CPCMS, Onbase and UJS Portal liaison
9. Function as AFCARS liaison
10. Functions as Sex Offender Assessment Board liaison.
11. Functions as liaison with Court Administrator for Court Custody Forms
12. Functions as Agency liaison for CPS related issues
13. Performs other job-related duties as required.

MET’s:

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

High school graduate.

Experience with Windows, Microsoft software, and Microsoft Excel

Good typing skills. 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Two years of experience as an Administrative Specialist or equivalent combination of experience and training.

• Meet the minimum experience and training for the job
• Meritorious service: defined as the absence of any discipline above the level of written reprimand during the 12 months preceding the closing date of the posting
