What will you be doing?
This position is responsible for performing various administrative duties and is also responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the administrative support personnel for an assigned facility.
- Perform a variety of high-level administrative tasks and perform day-to-day supervision of administrative support personnel for an assigned facility including: training; assigning and overseeing work; performance management; time and expense approval; disciplinary action as needed
- Examples of high-level administrative tasks include setting up client accounts, intercompany billing, and filling out customer quality surveys.
- Monitor work processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Participate in the development and implementation of department, employee, and client goals/objectives
- Oversee local operating procedures and work instructions to ensure accuracy as they pertain to the administrative support functions
- Ensure deliverables are accurate and timely for external and/or internal customers
- Responsible for area efficiency and productivity, and meeting deadline requirements and/or goals
- Oversee the purchase of monthly supplies and stay within budgetary guidelines
- Promote and maintain positive morale through coaching, teamwork, integrity, and leadership
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Perform other duties as required.
What qualifications do you need?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience directly related to the position
- Must be an effective communicator, in terms of actively listening, speaking, and writing
- Superior organizational skills are highly preferred
- Ability to independently manage projects from point of initiation to completion within established standards, objectives, and time frames
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well in various situations; ability to deal effectively with conflict in a mature and consistent manner using diplomacy and tact as needed
- Must be detailed oriented and organized; Must have excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities Microsoft Office proficiency
- Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
- Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
- Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
- Must be customer-focused and quality-driven
- Ability to travel as business needs dictate
