Administrative Support III Med/Hem/Rehab Services - Nationwide Children's Hospital

The Administrative Support III performs a wide variety of complex administrative activities for a Section Chief or VP.

Schedule: FT, Benefits Eligible, M-F 8:00am-4:30pm

Location: Onsite, Main Hospital (700 Childrens Dr.)

• Provides excellent service to both internal and external customers by applying best practices and standard operating procedures. Anticipates problems and proposes solutions in advance.
• Schedules appointments and meeting locations, coordinates business events, manages travel arrangements including air, hotel, and car reservations, scheduling options, develops itineraries, and processes reimbursement requests.
• Coordinates special projects within assigned department and provides assistance in training and orientation of colleagues.
• Creates moderately complex correspondence, spreadsheets, and visual presentations for projects.
• Maintains calendar for VP, schedules, coordinates and adjusts meetings including maintaining email groups, coordinating agendas and presentations, attends meetings and processes minutes.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

SKILLS:

• Must complete Ambassador Program within first 12 months of employment.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years administrative experience preferred.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Sitting for extended periods Constantly (67-100%)
• Talking on the phone/in person Constantly
• Typing on a computer keyboard Constantly
• Standing/walking Occasionally (0-33%)
