Administrative Support Specialist I - G112 - Parks Services - Columbus Consolidated Government

This position performs administrative and clerical duties in support of department operations.

• Greets visitors and directs them to appropriate personnel; assists visitors with information and answers questions.
• Answers the telephone; takes messages; screens calls; provides information to callers; receives citizen complaints; directs calls and message to appropriate personnel.
• Performs administrative and clerical work including typing, filing, and data entry.
• Schedules reservations for parks and riverwalk facilities.
• Maintains department payroll information including sick leave, vacation, and holiday time.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
