Summary This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. You will serve as an ADMIN/TECH SPECIALIST in the Operations Department, Business Financial and Acquisition Office, Code 10B1 of CARDEROCK DIV NS. Responsibilities You will assist in the coordination of all outgoing and incoming funding documents of the assigned division. You will provide a full range of analytical methods and procedures to review, extract and evaluate ERP data, financial reports, processes, procedures and records. You will participate in the developments, management and execution of the administrative functions and financial management of the assigned division budgets. You will evaluate division funding plans to identify potential problem areas and provide recommendations for re-programming funds. You will develop, plan and design automated strategies to improve operations efficiency. You will evaluate and compile data, recurring reports to prepare briefings to show progress, trends and identify problematic areas in need of improvement. You will consult with higher level management ad present documentation based on data interpretation and projections related to meeting the Divisions financial objective. You will research, analyze, validate and prepare high level information for required fiscal/financial reports. You will provide data analysis including all possible variables and develop statistical reports to ensure data is monitored and in compliance with management objectives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating financial/funding requirements (i.e. budget formulation, execution and close out) as it relates to developing and designing automated strategies to improve efficiency and execution of operations.
