CompuRay Medical is conducting a confidential search for a Surgery Center Administrator.
Our client is a highly respected specialty surgery center that performs surgery in the following specialties: Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Neurological, Orthopedic, Neurological, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Pain Medicine, Podiatry, General Surgery, and Urology. Colon & Rectal, this technology driven facility has 4 Treatment rooms and 8 Operating Rooms.
Job Description
The Administrator will have full responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day operational, and financial management of the outpatient facility. The duties involved for the Center will include, but not limited to the planning, organizing, directing and evaluation of all programs. Duties outlined below will be a guideline, and amendable as needed.
- Administrator directly responsible for services provided by the center including Clinical and Non-Clinical services
- Is a liaison to the Medical Staff and Facility Management
- Collaborates with all disciplines regarding the administrative issues and concerns.
- Responsible for managing payroll, AP, and inventory.
- Credentialing healthcare providers.
- Accreditation and survey readiness.
Clinical Services
Ensure that surgical programs and clinical services comply with all relevant regulatory and accrediting body standards. Collaborate with the Medical Director and Medical Executive Committee to evaluate and develop both existing and new surgical services within the facility.
Oversee the clinical departments, including nursing, central supply, medical records, and housekeeping. Supervise contracted services such as laboratory, radiology, pharmaceuticals, laundry, and biomedical engineering, ensuring they operate effectively.
Ensure the proper functioning of surgical and patient care equipment by managing contracted services and following up on necessary repairs.
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing plan, leading the facility's sales team in alignment with USPI's Sales Plan and the facility's business plan.
Identify and develop new services that are appropriate for ambulatory surgery centers, while fostering positive public relations, marketing, and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of licensure, public relations, policy development, budgeting, fiscal management/cost control, and accreditation,
- Experience in Medical coding, billing, collections, contract maintenance, and Inventory management.
- Proficient using Quickbooks, Windows, Excel, and Word.

Job Status Full-time
Pay: $134,050 to $149,900 per year
