About the Job
Wynn Las Vegas has an in-house 24/7 full-service Entertainment Production Services and Sound & Video Department to accommodate audio-visual and technical requests associated with convention, exhibit, private and catered event functions. Customer support for our clients is the number one factor that determines our departments success.
Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Entertainment Productions Services, the Office Administrator of Entertainment Productions Services will be required to:
- Answer telephone calls and handle general department inquiries.
- Facilitate urgent requests by contacting appropriate lead or management.
- Prepare and post all client billing and spreadsheet tracking.
- Prepare files, materials, correspondences, MEO/CEO distribution, and review.
- Attend Bi-Weekly MEO Meetings.
- Cross check daily timesheets.
- Maintain posted weekly schedule updates in conjunction with the Executive Director.
- Oversee department memo board.
- Complete and bill all banquet power request forms and basic data entry.
- Create and prepare invoicing, requisition orders, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate and maintain effective office procedures and efficient workflow.
- Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with superiors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.
- Performs a full range of secretarial duties.
- Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.
- Inventories and restocks departments first aid cabinets.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Job Experience/Education:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Secretarial/Administrative role within an entertainment A/V or resort environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
- Willing to define, practice and conform to safe working procedures.
- Knowledge of OSHA health and safety protocols is an asset.
- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal skills with proven talents in leadership, safety, and teamwork.
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Models a professional and polished appearance as required by company guidelines.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and long hours.
- Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
