Job Summary: The Administrator will oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while promoting high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration and a commitment to fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the facility's budget, including financial reporting, expense control, and revenue cycle management.
- Work with financial teams to ensure proper billing and collections.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement staff development programs.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Prepare for and participate in inspections and audits.
- Patient Care Coordination:
- Monitor and improve the quality of patient care services.
- Address patient and family concerns promptly and effectively.
- Community Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and families.
- Represent the facility at community events and meetings.
- Strategic Planning:
- Assist in the development and implementation of long-term strategic goals for the facility.
- Analyze market trends and community needs to inform service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration or management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reports.
- Proficient in healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity for reading documents and monitoring patient care.
