Admissions Coordinator Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in admissions or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to empathize and effectively communicate with individuals seeking treatment
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes

Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities
- Guide individuals through the admissions process, providing information and support.
- Conduct pre-assessments to gather essential information for the intake process.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess the appropriateness of potential admissions.
- Verify insurance coverage and communicate financial obligations to individuals and their families.
- Coordinate and schedule admission appointments, ensuring a seamless transition for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of admissions data and documentation.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure a cohesive and person-centered approach.
- Communicate effectively with external referral sources and healthcare providers.
- Provide timely updates to individuals and their families regarding the admissions process.
