Admissions Coordinator
Twinbrook Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as our Admissions Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the admissions process, ensuring seamless transitions for residents and their families into our facility. Your expertise will play a crucial part in upholding our commitment to providing high-quality care and exceptional service.
Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of the admissions process, including conducting initial assessments, gathering required documentation, and verifying insurance coverage.
- Communicate effectively with prospective residents, families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth admissions and address any inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of admissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to assess resident needs and ensure appropriate placement and care plans.
- Serve as a resource for families and residents throughout the admissions process, providing support and guidance as needed.
Admissions Coordinator Requirements:
- Experience in a healthcare admissions role, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance regulations related to admissions.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including electronic health records, and admission management systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
