Hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 11am-7:30pm
JOB SUMMARY
- The position facilitates the conversion of referrals to admissions through the completion of the intake process and the use of effective phone and customer service skills.
- Education/Regulatory Requirements:
- Associates degree preferred.
- Skills:
- Must have 3 years’ experience in healthcare administrative or customer service industry.
- Knowledge of hospice and home health programs is desirable.
- Ability to develop hospice clinical knowledge base.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to develop and apply effective customer service skills..
- Professional Requirements:
- Organized, flexible, self-motivated with the ability to communicate with all levels of the medical team.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Language Skills:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
