Admissions Director Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire admissions process for prospective residents.
• Conduct tours of the facility for potential residents and their families.
• Evaluate and process admission applications to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals, hospital discharge planners, and insurance companies to facilitate smooth admissions.
• Maintain accurate records of admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Provide ongoing support and information to residents and their families throughout the admission process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to ensure a steady flow of admissions.
• Prepare and present reports on admissions activities and outcomes to senior management.

Admissions Director Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, or a related field.
• Experience in admissions or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to admissions in a nursing home setting.
