  Admissions & Marketing Director

•  
• You will direct the admissions process for patients coming to the hospital for both inpatient and outpatient services. This includes creating and implementing new best practices for more efficient admission procedures. You will also have a role in promoting the hospital and developing and maintaining strategies to generate revenue and maintain patient satisfaction.

•  

  Responsibilities:

  ·  Generating referrals and converting admissions to meet facility goals

  ·  An understanding of insurances and managed care plans to appropriately place patients

  ·  Conduct tours of the facility with potential residents and their family members

  ·  Marketing the facility as the preferred provider within our hospitals and community

  ·  Completing and processing admission paperwork and reporting

  ·  Development and execution of Strategic Marketing Plans

  ·  Room readiness and customer service initiatives

  ·  Utilization of EHR systems and hospital portal management

• Qualifications: 

• Proven experience as an admissions director in a hospital or similar health care facility or experience working in admissions with some supervisorial experience
• Understanding of EHR systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and applicable coding and classification
• Proven leader with the ability to settle disputes and discipline when needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Empathetic with a strong understanding of patient’s concerns and needs
