The Admissions and Marketing Specialist is responsible for generating and maintaining a positive facility census based on facility budgetary goals. This person will create and implement an effective and measurable marketing plan that involves key facility management personnel, act as liaison between the facility, Care Transition Coordinator and the referral community. They will monitor daily census results and adjust marketing plans accordingly. This employee will manage the referral approval process according to the Company Commit to Care guidelines and protocols. This position will also coordinate the entire admission process and assist the family with administrative questions.

Qualifications:

1. 2 years of successful admission process experience preferred
2. 4-year degree is preferred; a 2 year degree in marketing, healthcare or related field is required.
3. Demonstrated ability to proactively anticipate the needs of discharge planners, case managers, physicians and other referral contacts, family members, responsible parties, and facility staff
4. Demonstrate exceptional customer service and public relation skills
5. Demonstrated ability to speak and present to the public
6. Demonstrated ability to work independently toward goals
7. Ability to travel within a sixty ( 60) mile radius of facility
8. Must be at least 21 years of age
