About the Job
Ultimate Staffing is seeking an Admissions Officer for our St Louis, MO client, focusing on graduate program admissions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in higher education admissions and will play a pivotal role in managing the student recruitment and admissions process, ensuring timely and efficient communication with prospective students, and supporting enrollment growth.
Candidates must have prior Admissions department experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to incoming inquiries from prospective graduate students regarding admission requirements and program details.
- Review and verify application materials, pre-qualify candidates, and coordinate interviews and evaluations with the Admissions Committees.
- Accurately input candidate information and documentation into the Student Information System (SIS) for reporting and record-keeping purposes.
- Audit application files and prerequisite documents using multiple software systems to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Effectively communicate admissions processes, acceptance protocols, and institutional policies to candidates in a clear and compliant manner.
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls (up to 100 per day) to prospective students to provide guidance and follow-up on their application status.
- Represent the institution at recruitment fairs, campus tours, open houses, webinars, conventions, and other admissions-related events, including Orientation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly enrollment and matriculation reports for the Dean of Enrollment Management and Student Success.
- Participate in campus-sponsored events, both virtually and in-person, as required.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends to meet business needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Proven experience working in higher education admissions required
- Schedule is 9-6 PM onsite M-F with occasional events during the weekend or evenings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing multiple software systems and databases.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.
